Hi, I'm in research.. and as I posted in my presentation message I'm from Spain, so despite the fact I was registered a year and a half ago, I only readed somtimes as I can't write in Italian, and know I would like ask to S3 owners...
I hope won't be a problem use english, I'm affraid of the result that I could paste from google translator to italian!
I would like compare spring types of the S3 facelift, for this I would like ask what codes have the facelift S3 with manual gearbox and s-tronic/DSG, specially 3 door and/or s-tronic versions.
This appears in the VIN and equipment label in service book or in the trunk near the spare tire.
Could you tell me what type of S3 do you have and the codes marked in red? (the most important), also if you can, indicate the blue marked codes.
for example: this should be S3 pre-facelift 3 door manual gearbox and conventional dampers, OYC rear weight code, and L26 front weight code, and UB5, G12

Usually
G12 means S3 front suspension,
G29 S3 magnetic ride front suspension..
UB5 S3 rear suspension
UA6/UA7 rear magnetic ride suspension, I don't know which it's S3 and no-S3
L?? (for example: L26) it's the code that indicates front weight for that type of suspension
OY? (for example: OYC) it's the code that indicates rear weight for that type of suspension

Dovrei confrontare come i tipi di lifting primavera S3, per questo mi piacerebbe avere i codici di chiedere cosa lifting S3 con cambio manuale e s-tronic/DSG, specialmente 3 porte e / o s-tronic versioni.
Ciò appare in VIN e le attrezzature in etichetta prenotare il servizio nel bagagliaio o in prossimità della ruota di scorta.
Potreste dirmi che tipo di S3 avete ei codici in rosso? (il più importante) anche se è possibile, indicare i codici Marker blu.
