2.0 TFSI 420cv - 0-100 in 3,7 s

E' già finito il tempo del 2.5?

Besides introducing the third-gen TT, Audi is also presenting in Geneva a very powerful TT quattro sport concept.
The highlight of this concept is represented by an uprated 4-cylinder 2.0-liter TFSI engine outputting an impressive 420 HP (309 kW) at 6,700 rpm and 450 Nm (331 lb-ft) of torque available between 2,400 and 6,300 rpm. The engine weighs only 150 kg (330 lbs) and offers 210 HP / liter of displacement, even more than the 2001 Le Mans-winner R18.
The Audi quattro sport concept tips the scales at 1,344 kg (2,963 lbs) and sprints to 62 mph (100 km/h) in only 3.7 seconds thanks to a quick S tronic dual-clutch gearbox sending output to the quattro all-wheel drive system.
In terms of styling, the concept distance itself from the new TT thanks to a new diamond-pattern front grille, matrix LED headlights and massive air intakes. It also comes with different 20-inch alloy wheels and has received a CFRP splitter along with extended wheel arches and a diffuser also made from carbon fiber reinforced plastic. There's also a big rear wing to increase downforce while the two large circular tailpipes show the concept means business.
The interior cabin has been stripped of extra weight by removing the speakers and armrests, while in the cargo area there is space for two racing helmets. Audi fitted the concept with bucket seats with black four-point seatbelts along with a 12.3-inch TFT fully digital display also found in the revamped TT. The red start/stop button has been positioned on the steering wheel where the driver also has access to the buttons to control the large screen.
There's no word about a production version but chances are the Audi TT quattro sport concept is a preview for a future track-focused version.

direi:
